Staying Connected
School District of Lancaster's Robert Fulton Elementary School hosted an inspiring College & Career Day, focusing this assembly on the heroic work of first responders. The event welcomed a variety of professionals, including Lancaster City police officers, police social workers, firefighters, paramedics, and medical professionals, who shared their experiences and knowledge with eager young minds.
Students had the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogues, asking questions and exploring the day-to-day challenges and rewards associated with careers in public safety and emergency services! Thank you to all who took time out of their schedule to be with us.

Each day, these amazing individuals bring their dedication, warmth, and expert skills to our school district, creating an environment where learning thrives and community bonds strengthen. Whether they`re greeting families with a smile, managing tasks behind the scenes, or supporting our staff and students in countless ways, their attention to detail and deep care for our community make a profound impact on the lives of our students, staff, and families.
Have you met our longest serving and newest Admin Professional? Debra Rye, Office Assistant at Hazel I. Jackson Middle School, has been with School District of Lancaster since August 1983! She has been a cornerstone of our community. Her dedication, warmth, and unparalleled professionalism have left a mark on generations of students and staff. Thank you, Debra, for nearly 40 years of service and for being the heart of Jackson!
Our newest member Alma Morales, Building Assistant at King Elementary School, joined us in February of this year. In just a short time, Alma has already made an impact with her vibrant energy and commitment to excellence. Thank you for all that you bring to our team.
